Kate’s Voice issued its first grants in January 2007. Since then, we are proud to report that Kate’s Voice grants are in high demand and have reached many classrooms across Massachusetts – from Fall River to Charlestown to Westminister.
Kate’s Voice currently has nine grants in place for the 2007-2008 school year. At some point in late August/early September of 2008, Kate’s Voice will issue a request for grant applications for the 2008-2009 school year.
Want Kate’s Voice to notify your district’s collaborative or special education contacts? Please send us an email at katesvoice@comcast.net. Please include the contact person’s name and email address and indicate affiliated school.
Teachers or administrators (in eastern Massachusetts schools) of children with special needs can apply. The class should have between 5-15 students. It is possible to group together two or more special needs classes to fulfill the class size and/or to use the grant to its fullest potential (i.e., if there are two or three smaller classes in one space, you can combine them for the music sessions).
If you have any questions, please contact us at katesvoice@comcast.net.
Please send completed applications to: Kate’s Voice
